Deeper Insights
I have combined a long (30
year) professional career with a lifetime fascination for
the science of self-actualisation. – This fascination
continues to be a rich journey which informs what I bring
to my work in every way.
Clients – very kindly
- speak of my skill in eliciting clarity and focus –
my tenacity in coaching for growth and crucially: for real
and lasting insight.
Essentially a pragmatist I
believe coaching is always about the bottom line. But equally
that success is not just about what you have achieved but
who you become.
Working with business executives
over the last 20 years I have, again and again, sought to
bring out the A-ha moment….because the client does know
best – they just may not know how to surface that ‘best’.
My approach is very much to
surface these insights – and provide the tools so clients
can be self-sustaining and then I exit.
With a team I might work briefly
with each team member – design and deliver the intervention
– and come back to do a maintenance check before exiting.
Exit is a very important concept
here: in and out –no dependence allowed. Indeed dependence
is the antithesis of the process. The core principle is realisation–
and on, to the next level of development and growth.
I’m at the end of a phone
for questions – or a fresh intervention after the original
has become a competency and people are ready to move even
further on.
But really, the core principle
is enablement. Insight changes our experience of life –
and hence everything about our lives.
I work with senior executives
and teams in the UK and internationally.
Typically assignments last
between 3 and 6 months.
